How It Works
This special package is only available for Recipe Editing 101 alumni. With this package, you get 3 things:
✓ Get individual feedback on up to 5 recipe edits (you edit, I review)
✓ Submit your cold pitch, warm pitch, resume, or portfolio for feedback (1 document)
✓ Take advantage of one-on-one mentoring sessions (two 30-minute calls)
Edit 5 Recipes + Get Feedback
You choose a recipe that truly needs a recipe edit (for example, a recipe from your own personal blog or a blog without an editing staff not a recipe from a well-respected publication with staff editors like the NYT, Serious Eats, America's Test Kitchen—the sloppier the recipe, the better for this exercise) or select 5 from the recipe library (donated recipes that can be used in your portfolio).
- I will provide in-line feedback on your edits (Track Changes in Word).
- If necessary, I will provide additional feedback and resources via email.
Recipes must be submitted for approval before you begin editing. Not all recipes will be approved.
Resume Feedback
Submit a cold pitch, warm pitch, resume, portfolio, short bio, LinkedIn post, rate page, or flyer for feedback.
Mentoring Sessions
This is an opportunity to pick my brain, ask additional questions about the material, or talk through your goals and how you'd like to achieve them. Sessions are subject to editor availability and may be completed over phone, Zoom, or email. Limited to 60 minutes per package.
