Let’s Work Together!
Are you looking for an editor for your cookbook, research article, or resume? If so, you're in the right place!
Welcome! I'm a freelance editor with more than 15 years of experience. You might be here because you've done the HARD WORK of putting words on a page. Now, you might be wondering how to make sure that draft is ready for the world to see. That's where I come in. I help by checking to make sure your words make sense, your grammar won't attract the attention of the grammar police, and that your manuscript is polished and ready for publication. Whether you're working on a public policy dissertation or a recipe, I have the skills and experience necessary to ensure your work is ready to go.
What clients are saying
I've worked with Melissa twice now and highly, highly recommend her! First she helped me revamp my resume, taking it from lackluster to absolutely sparkling in two sessions that were absolutely well worth the money. About six months later I hired her to help me overhaul my book coaching business plan and website. We met three times; after each session she'd send me notes from the meeting and a to-do list, both of which were super helpful. She's well-organized and so knowledgeable! And kind, warm, and funny. And generous. She's the best! If you're looking for a career jump-start, Melissa is the person for you! Jessie S.
